Our “Why”

We are all connected — many parts of one body.

At Many Parts, One Body, we believe in a simple yet profound concept: we are all connected, each of us a vital part of a greater whole. Inspired by the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, we believe that all of us make up many parts of a single body in Christ. This isn’t just the basis for our mission, it is the driving force behind everything we do.

Read our story

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:12
What we do

Three ways we show up

Everything we do runs on the same goal: to provide good food to those in need, completely free of charge.

Our story so far

From a 1,000-meal goal to ~9,000 in year one

Two Blue Springs High School teachers set out to serve 1,000 meals in their first year. By year’s end, Many Parts, One Body had provided roughly 9,000 meals across Jackson County — and kept growing. (KSHB, Aug 2025)
